Apparently, he doesn’t like crowds or believe in their wisdom.
I’ve always seen Gawker as a bit of a rogue media company with no real declared mission or vision. Don’t get me wrong, I think Denton knows what he is doing and is a smart cat but I’m not convinced he has any idea of where he wants to be in say 5 to 10 years.
On the other hand, Jason Calacanis knew exactly where he was headed.
